Portable Apps for Linux Easy App Downloader

Paflload is a small Perl program designed to ease the process of installing Portable Apps. Follow the directions below to download it.

Almost all Linux distributions should come with Perl. If yours doesn't, visit the Perl Download Page to get it.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Right click on this link and choose Save Target As.
  2. Choose a directory on your computer to save the program to.
  3. Open a Terminal which should be in Applications->Accessories->Terminal on your menu.
  4. Type cd <folderyousaveditto>.
  5. Type perl paflload and follow the instructions.
  6. You're done! To run the program again, repeat steps 3-5.

NOTE: If you get an error when running step 5, install Perl.
